The Youth Climbing World Championships are currently taking place in Moscow, Russia. Laura Rogora from Italy and Sam Avezou from France have been crowned Youth A Bouldering World Champions, while Ekaterina Barashchuk from Russia and Gian Luca Zodda from Italy have been crowned Speed World Champions in the Juniors category.

America’s Margo Hayes has repeated La Rambla at Siurana in Spain and, in doing so, has become the first woman to climb 9a+.

Janja Garnbret, Margo Hayes and Ashima Shiraishi all followed up their Lead victories at the IFSC World Youth Championships in guangzhou by winning Gold in the Bouldering discipline. They were joined by Borna Cujic, Keita Dohi and Nathan Martin.

Only Italy and Russia topped the Speed podiums of the IFSC World Youth Championships in guangzhou.
