86 Dolomites 3000ers, Luca Fois & co embark on ambitious link-up On 27 June 2025, Luca Fois embarked on '86 Dolomites', the ambitious project to link all 86 peaks over 3,000 meters in the Dolomites in a single continuous effort. The 40-year-old Italian is joined by a team of experts comprised of Giuseppe Obinu, Emanuele Chessa and Michael Turconi.

La Penultima added to Elferkofel in Dolomites, Italy Samuel Holzknecht, Simon Messner and Cesare Olivetti have made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'La Penultima' on Elferkofel / cima undici in the Sexten Dolomites, Italy. The 450m climb above Fischleintal ends at the Cengia degli Alpini ledge.
