| On Wednesday 11 June the week-long Mountaineering Festival, due to take place in Lecco from 21-29 June, will be officially presented in Milan. During the festival the "Grignetta d'Oro 2003" and the third stage of the Climbing World Cup 2003 will take place. The Grignetta d'Oro is organised once every two years. An independent jury awards prizes for three categories: Mountaineering, Science and Technology, and Communication.
