Lecco: 4th Mountaineering Meeting – Premio Grignetta d’Oro
The fourth Mountaineering - Grignetta d’Oro Awards Ceremony gets underway in Lecco, Italy this weekend. The two-day meeting marks the start of the highly anticipated, week-long mountaineering festival, which includes the World Cup Difficulty, Speed and Bouldering competitions.

The two-day meeting marks the start of the highly anticipated, week-long mountaineering festival, which includes the World Cup Difficulty, Speed and Bouldering competitions. On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 many of Italy's most important mountaineers and climbers will take part in the event, including the likes of Christian Kuntner (twelve 8000ers), Silvio Mondinelli (ten 8000ers), the skyrunner Fabio Meraldi, Kurt Astner, Christoph Hainz and the sports climbers Cristian Brenna and Alberto Gnerro to name but a few.
