Mont Blanc: creating the highest resolution panorama ever made
Filippo Blengini / in2white.com

70,000 photos, 15 days shooting, 2 months post production, 365 gigapixels, 1 quite extraordinary photograph: Mont Blanc as you’ve never seen before. We’re obviously talking about the largest giga panorama ever taken, created for the In2White project led by Italian photographer Filippo Blengini who between October and November immortalized this magnificent view onto the massif from Petit Flambeau at circa 3500m. It really is worth discovering these mountains and crests, such as Tour Ronde, Grand Capucin, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Arête des Cosmiques, Aiguille du Midi and the new cable car at Punta Helbronner (which finally reopened on Saturday 30 March. The details are impressive to say the least, you can even make out the fixed ropes below the summit of Dent du Géant
