Ceuse Clean Up Day - Saturday 05 and Sunday 06 July 2008
Ceuse Clean-up Day
Climbers are invited to take part in the Clean-up Day at Ceuse, France scheduled for 05-06/07/2008.
Ceuse is without a doubt one of the most famous crags in the world and quite rightly so, but as so often popularity comes hand in hand with pollution. In a effort to stop the crag from becoming a victim of its own success, the local climbing organisations and the FFME have organised a face-lift operation this weekend and all climbers, locals or visitors, are obviously invited to take part in the initiative.
The Clean-up Day gets underway at the parking lot at Les Guérins at 09.30 on Saturday 07 July 22008 and after an evening buffet and films continues the next day. It promises to be an fun and important way of showing all concerned that climbers are capable of managing, and not jeopardising, their natural heritage.
