| The third and final stage of the Italian Bouldering Cup 2002 was won, to some surprise, by Georgos Progulakis, ahead of reigning champion Christian Core. His second place secures him overall victory in 2002, to add to World Cup and European Championship titles. Third place went to Paolo Leoncini. The hard-fought women's event was won by Stella Marchisio (who thereby wins the Cup), ahead of Lisa Benetti and Claudia Salvadori. by Andrea Costaguta
