Daone ice structure works

 Weather forcasters have predicted one of the coldest winters on record... And that there will be plenty of ice! In Valle di Daone they're making use of the temperature drop and construction works are already underway for the international Ice Master in Valle di Daone, programmed for 25-29 January 2005The Ice Climbing Stadium is beginning to take shape. As in recent years, it is located at Pracul, which hosted the World Cup in 2002 and 2003. And as usual, the project is coordinated by Maurizio Gallo, Placido Corradi and the volunteers of the Comitato Pareti di Cristallo, with the collaboration of the Tione Mountain Rescue. Daone has always produced fantastic, futuristic ice structures that never cease to amaze. Judging by the skeleton, 2005 should be extraordinary. Keep tuned, for the ice!
