Arco Rock Master 2004

The Rock Master 2004 will take place in Arco di Trento on 3-4 September 2004.

The classic international Rock Master competition takes place in Arco this weekend. By invitation only, it is considered one of the most important events in the competition calendar.

Â ROCK MASTER
The formula. The classic competition formula: the sum of two events, the on-sight and redpoint, decides the winner. The athlete who climbs highest over two days wins. Like last year, Leonardo Di Marino and Donato Lella are the route setters.
Athletes. The top ten in the permanent world class ranking, plus 10 "wild cards". Last year's winners: Angela Eiter and Alexandre Chabot.

Â TROFEO ENNIO LATTISI (the duel)
The formula. The top four athletes from the men's and women's event take part in the challenging head-to-head. The athletes climb not only against the route but also against their adversary. Last year's winners: Angela Eiter and TomÃ s MrÃ zek

Â SINT ROC BOLDER CONTEST
The formula. 4 boulder problems worked prior to the competition. Each problem eliminates the worst competitor, resulting in 2 or 3 athletes competing on the final fourth boulder problem.
Athletes. By invitation, 8 men and seven women. Last year's winners: Olga Bibik and Mauro Calibani

Â SPEED
The formula. Another Rock Master classic, the menâs head to head, sudden death competition on two identical, parallel routes.the world's best are all eastern European.
