The Real Thing, the cult bouldering film with Ben Moon and Jerry Moffat
It is one of the all time classics, one of those films that like Stone Monkey marked a generation of climbers: The Real Thing, the first ever feature-length bouldering movie. Dated 1996, this follows the efforts of two ace climbers of that era, Ben Moon and Jerry Moffatt who back then were at the peak of their climbing career. The two are joined by another great English climber, Sean Myles, as well as German rock legend Kurt Albert and French master Marc Le Menestrel, as they train on the Campus Board, take a trip to mecca of world bouldering, Fontainebleau in France, and dabble on the world-famous boulder problem Karma. The Real Thing is a leap into bouldering history.
