Patxi Usobiaga repeats Realization 9a+ at Ceuse

di

On 29/07/2004 Patxi Usobiaga made the third ascent of Realization / Biographie, 9a+ at Céüse.

Late yesterday evening Patxi Usobiaga made the coveted third ascent of 'Realization', 9a+ at Céüse. Originally equipped by Jean Cristophe Lafaille, the “Biographie extension” was finally freed by Chris Sharma in July 2001. It is widely considered one of the hardest sports routes in the world and was repeated in May by local Sylvain Millet.

Usobiaga, who placed second at the nearby Serre Chevalier Intenational Masters behind Alexandre Chabot last weekend, now has three 8b+ onsights and one 9a redpoint to his name.
