| Patxi Usobiaga has onsighted "Pata Negra" 8c at Rodellar. The 40m endurance route, onsighted by Tomas Mrazek in Spetember 2005, has now fallen victim to the Spaniard, who now doubles his 8c on-sight takings after sending "Gaua"' at Lenzaia in October 2005 in the purest of styles. Patxi is on a run at the moment and after his second place in Shanghai last week he is currently placed first in the World Cup 2006 standings. The next competition schedule is outdoors, far removed from the UIAA comps but close to home: the Dima RockMaster at his Basque crags - he may prove hard to beat this weekend!
