He touches the rock, caresses it. And when he finds the hold, he continues upwards. This is what Nicolas Moineau does, the French rock climber who twenty years ago was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa , a genetic disease which gradually took away almost all his sight. But certainly not his joy for life and love for climbing and Moineau has always continued to climb, so much so that last September in Paris he was crowned World Champion in his Visual Impairment B1 category. He is, undoubtedly, an example for all.
