Jakob Schubert was prepared for another full-on lead competition season but things didn't go as planned this year. Severe skin problems and a Covid infection forced the Austrian to skip the Climbing World cups in Villars and Chamonix before returning back on the wall at the Rock Master in Arco and the most important event this season, the European Championships in Munich.
