There’s something to this footage filmed by Kevin Takahashi Smith that makes it special. Perhaps it’s because the sense of urgency is almost palpable as Giuliano Cameroni scrapes up the first ascent of Manouche above Sonlerto in Valle Bavona. This hard 8B provides some technical moves on small edges that are followed, as the 22-year-old Swissman explains "by a beautiful but spicy top out." Yep. Spicy indeed.
