Filip Schenk has sent Omen Nomen, the 9a at Padaro above Arco, Italy. that was first freed by Stefano Ghisolfi in 2017 and quickly became one of the most sought-after 9a's in the area. It was one of the first 9a's he ever laid his hands on and after his redpoint the 25-year-old South Tyrolean climber said: "A route I’ve carried with me for some years now. It’s always been on my to-do list since I started trying harder routes around Arco as a kid. Somehow, I never found the time to come back for more than just a few days each year to finish it off. Good to see some progress and that this year two days were enough to get it done!"

When not competing in the World Cup circuit, Schenk has has managed to send several 9a's, such as Underground and Pure Dreaming at Massone, Biologico at Narango, and Kein Licht Kein Schatten in Austria's Ötztal. 9a+ is missing from his scorecard, and although he could undoubtedly send one in a brace of shakes, at the moment his sights are set on Erebor. Another route established by Stefano Ghisolfi, but this time 9b.
