On 9 September 2007 American climbers Conrad Anker and Peter Croft teamed up to make the first ascent Solar Flare, a spectacular nine pitch outing up the lefthand side of "the Hulk", i.e. the Incredible Hulk in California’s High Sierra. Emily Harrington and Alex Honnold speed up the climb in what is, for them, a typical day out in the mountains.
