Christian Bindhammer onsights Millenium 8b+ and Marjestica 8b/b+ at Misja Pec, Ospo, Slovenia

Without a doubt impressive what Christian Bindhammer has been up to recently!. His brief report of the fast but furious trips to Slovenia’s steep Ospo says it all.

Five days at Easter resulted in flash ascents of 'Missing Drink' 8b+ and 'Marjestica', 8b/b+. After having checked out 'Strelovod' 8c this fell first go, while he redpointed 'Konec Mira', 8c/8c+, third go. To finish off he onsighted 'Popej' 8a+.

After placing 5th at the World Cup in Bolzano he returned once more to a rainy Ospo. This time he had his sights set on the 35m 'Millenium'. The German held his cool on the final five wet meters to onsight this 8b+! Fantastic. Bindhammer is now the fourth person to have onsighted this grade, following in the footsteps of Elli Chevieux, Yuji Hirajama and Cristian Brenna.
