Monte Amaita continues to produce new boulder problems and recently on this volcanic rock in Tuscany - located between the marvellous Maremma and Chianti regions - Michele Caminati freed two new problems, Il Gioco della Bottiglia 8A at the sector Case Marchi and Achille, a "beautiful overhanging ball graded 8A+" located at Settore della Vetta.

This sector is located at circa 1500m above sea level and even if it's winter, Caminati wrote on his blog that he managed to climb all the time by simply moving from one sector to the next. Better still "we managed to climb for a couple of days with just a T-shirt, despite the sporadic snowfall."

Caminati could obviously not be the Caminati we know well had he not stumbled across a beautiful project in the thick beech forest... no doubt we'll be hearing more of this in the future. In the meantime though here's a "brief preview to give you an idea about the beauty of this place."
