"It takes you ten days to get up, and three seconds to get down. Bouldering is such a stupid sport." Alexander Megos obviously doesn’t entirely believe his own words, but they do neatly sum up his feelings right after making the first ascent of Upgrade U. At 8C, this long-standing project in the Frankenjura is now a contender for the hardest boulder problem in the area.
