The video of Adam Ondra attempting Becoming 9a+ in Germany’s Frankenjura. Excellent analysis from the Czech climber but also a reminder to stay at home during these difficult times.

Last autumn Adam Ondra attempted to repeat Becoming, one of the hardest routes in Germany established by Frankenjura local Markus Bock in 2014. Ondra failed in his single day attempt, but only just. As usual his running commentary is extremely interesting, but his thoughts at the end are the most important: "Rock climbing has the advantage that you can always come back. I mean, i can always come back for this route, but now, it is really important that we all stay at home at least a couple more weeks until this craziness is over." Words of wisdom from the grand master.
