In November 2015 Austria’s David Lama and America’s Conrad Anker attempted to climb a new route up hitherto untouched summit of Lunag Ri, a 6907m high mountain located on the border between Nepal and Tibet. On reaching the headwall the freezing cold and high winds forced the two to descend, but as Lama wisely states "we still have our fingers. They will surely be useful on our next attempt, which we have set our sights on for next year."

In 2015 Lama and Anker climbed together to complete the first ascent of Latent Core at Zion, USA
