Switzerland cleans its mountains
An advertising campaign concerning Switzerland's efforts to clean its mountains, promoted by the Swiss Tourist Board.
The idea obvioulsy stems from the Swiss Tourist Board, but the video seems so original we thought we'd highlight this short clip which went online on April 1st. The "viral video" launched on Youtube and via the Facebook community seems to have left its mark, so much so that it was also talked about on British morning television and Frances TF1.
Yesterday Jürg Schmid, the director of Switzerlan's Tourist Board, reassured everuone that Switzerland didn't in fact need mountain cleaners: "Our mountains are by nature beautiful."
How could one contradict him? And how could one not remember that all those who love the mountains, not only those in Switzerland, should do their utmost to leave no trace?
