There is little information to go by at present, apart from a succinct confirmatory SMS by satellite phone stating that British mountaineers Nick Bullock and Andy Houseman have climbed the 1500m North Face of Chang Himal (6750m). Otherwise referred to as Wedge Peak or Ramtang Chang, this magnificent mountain is located close to Kanchenjunga and the unclimbed fluted North Face has been eyed by many. In 2007 the Slovenians Ales Kozelj and Mitja Sorn attempted the face but abandoned at circa half height due to appalling conditions.

More detailed information about this ascent to follow.
