Route
Logical climb up Gran Flambeau, established while the Giro d'Italia visited Mont Blanc. Pitch 3 climbs a magnificent corner; 4 bolts improve safety while breaching the overhang.
Getting there
Reach Courmayeur in Italy and take the Skyway cable car up to Rifugio Torino. Access
From the Torino hut head towards Colle Flambeau, a few hundred meters before on the left head towards the wall where there is a bolt with a cord (start of Koala Pirla). Skirt the wall for 40m to reach a bolt that indicates the start. The face is on the left, 5 min from the refuge. Starting altitude 3360m. Descent
Abseil down the route, belays with 1 bolt and slings Gear
Friends up to BD blue, set of nuts, slings. One 70m rope
