Facile Facile 2.0 o Rognon Vaudano is a beautiful mixed climb on excellent red granite. It's in the sun from 10:00 in the morning until late afternoon—you won't be in a T-shirt, but almost! The entire route needs to be protected with trad gear; only the belays are in-situ. The route gets its name from the fact that every we go into the mountains, I tell Federica, "you'll see, it'll be an easy, easy route."
Reach Courmayeur and take the Skyway cable car to Punta Helbronner.
AccessThe approach is about 40/45 minutes from Punta Helbronner and the Torino mountain hut, following the trail that leads towards Aigille Marbrées, and then heading up towards the base of the peak.
