In January 2025 Canadian alpinists Flavie Cardinal and Jasper Pankratz made the first ascent of 'Todo lo que se Comparte' on Pirita Central in the remote Piritas valley, a side valley of the turbio Valley in Northern Patagonia. Cardinal reports.

An all-woman team comprised of Julia Cassou, Rocío Rodríguez Guiñazú, Fay Manners, Caroline North and Belén Prados spent five weeks in Northern Patagonia's Río turbio IV valley, where they made the first ascent of 'Apollo 13' on the previously unclimbed El Cohete peak. Manners reports.

On 15 and 16 March 2017 Luca Schiera and Paolo Marazzi made the first ascent of Produci consuma crepa, a new 900m rock climb with difficulties up to 6c A2, on the NE Face of Cerro Mariposa, Rio turbio valley, Patagonia. Luca Schiera reports

On 15 and 16 March 2017 the two Italian Ragni di Lecco alpinists Luca Schiera and Paolo Marazzi established a new route up Cerro Mariposa in Patagonia.

In February a small American team of climbers carried out a first ascent of Voces en la Noche, (V 5.11 A0) on Pirita Right in the remote Argentian Piritas Valley, Rio turbio, while a Canadian team produced Todos los Caballos Lindos (5.11-) on Pirita Central.
