95% of avalanche accidents are caused by the victims. Raising awareness about this statistic, about mountain safety in general and above all about how to prevent accidents happening in the first place is the aim of a new project entitled "Montagna Amica e Sicura". Piloted by the Italian Alpine Club, the Mountain Rescue service and the Mountain Guides, recently this video was released in time for winter. We highly recommend it; fun, simple, efficient.
