Finally the news many have been waiting for: it's snowing! And numerous lifts throughout the Alps have already opened, 10 days earlier than usual.

Snow cover in Italy currently ranges from 10-80 cm above 1500m, reaching 250cm on Plateau Rosa. After last year's disasterous winter, let's keep our fingers crossed.
