Freeride World Tour 2014: Courmayeur comp postponed

Due to the poor weather conditions the first stage of the Swatch Freeride World Tour by The North Face 2014, the world's most important freeride tour, was cancelled today at Courmayeur. The future date yet is to be defined and today's results will not be included in the final ranking.

Unfortunately low clouds and poor visibility forced the organisers of the Swatch Freeride World Tour by The North Face to suspend today's competition in Courmayeur, Italy, today. According to the weather forecast conditions will remain poor until Thursday 23 January. The riders are currently on hold and the organisers will announce the new date as soon as this has been defined.

During a short weather window the athletes competed earlier today and their results will not be taken into account in the final ranking.
