The 2023 Ski Mountaineering World Cup took place in Andorra last weekend. The Individual race was won on Saturday by Axelle Gachet-Mollaret and Thibault Anselmet, while Gachet-Mollaret and Rémi Bonnet won the Vertical race on Sunday.

At Ponte di Legno in Italy Axelle Gachet-Mollaret and Rémi Bonnet won the Individual race of the first stage of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup 2023. The Sprint race was won by Célia Perillat-Pessey and Arno Lietha.

Climbing alpine style from 25 - 29 June 2022 French alpinists Christophe Ogier, Victor Saucede, Jérôme Sullivan completed the first ascent of Pumari Chhish East (6850m) in Pakistan.
