Festival gorniškega filma 2025, Slovenia's International Mountain Film Festival to take place from 17-22 February The 19th International Film Festival 'Festival gorniškega filma' will take place at Ljubljana and Domzale, Slovenia, from 17 - 22 February 2025. Directed by Silvo Karo, guests include Jackson Marvell, Miška Izakovičová, Ana Baumgartner, Urša Kešar, Anja Petek, Patricija Verdev, Marija and Andrej Štremfelj and many more.

Slovenian female expedition makes first ascent of Lalung I and three other climbs in Indian Himalayas From 22 August to 26 September a small team of four Slovenian women comprised of Ana Baumgartner, Urša Kešar, Anja Petek and Patricija Verdev climbed four new routes in the Indian Himalaya. These include the alpine style first ascent of the previously unclimbed Lalung I (6,243m).
