Jordi Corominas to receive Piolets d'Or Carrière Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 Spanish alpinist Jordi Corominas has been named as 2024 recipient of the Piolets d'Or Carrière. He will receive the 16th Walter Bonatti - Piolets d’Or Lifetime Achievement Award at the international festival in San Martino di Castrozza (Dolomites, Italy) in December.

Piolet d'Or 2015 and the big list of 58 climbs 58 ascents carried out in 2014 have been included in the "Big list" of the Piolets d'Or, the most prestigious mountaineering award that will be celebrated between 9 - 12 April, 2015 at Courmayeur and Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc.

siula chico: Looking for the Void, new French route in Peru From 16 to 20 May 2014 the French alpinists Frédéric Degoulet, Benjamin Guigonnet, Hélias Millerioux and Robin Revest made the first ascent of Looking for the Void, a difficult new ice and mixed route up the West face of siula chico in the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru.
