On Monte Fop in Val Franzedaz (Dolomites), Federico Dell’Antone and Thomas Gianola have opened 'Abbronzatissima'. a technical and elegant climb where balance, precision, and a cool head matter more than strength. The multipitch outing that 'is more reminiscent of the rätikon than the classic Dolomites.'

On 11 August Janina Reichstein and Luisa Deubzer repeated 'Headless Children' (8b, 250m) on Schijenfluh, rätikon. The pair made an ecopoint ascent, travelling to the mountain to work the route by train, bus and hitchhiking. Deubzer reports.

Barbara Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher have made the first free ascent of 'Next Generation' in the rätikon massif. Located on the Zwölferkopf West Face, this 170m alpine sport climb was established by Christian Fritz, Pio Jutz, Klaus Müller and Christof Thaler in 2018 and now goes free at 8b+.
