Piolets d'Or 2025 announces list of Significant First Ascents The organisers of the Piolet d’Or mountaineering award have published the 'big list' of most significant and innovative climbs carried out in 2024. The honoured ascents will receive the Piolets d'Or 2025 award from 9 - 12 December 2025 during the celebration at San Martino di Castrozza (Italy).

New Kyrgyzstan climbs by Kirill Belotserkovskiy, ivan temerev, Alex Tyulyupo Mountaineers Kirill Belotserkovskiy, ivan temerev and Alex Tyulyupo have established a series of new routes in the Western Kokshaal-Too mountain range in Kyrgyzstan. Highlights included ascents of Pik Alpinist (5482m) and Pik Korolyova (5816m).
