Ascending one of the Himalayan giants in winter certainly isn't an every day occurrence. On the contrary. Nor is being able to listen to those who experienced such an adventure. But tomorrow evening, thanks to internet and its new technologies, you'll be able to watch Simone Moro, Cory Richards and Denis Urubko live as they talk about last February's historic first winter ascent of Gasherbrum II.

Planetmountain will transmit - via live streaming - the London stage of the tour called The North Face Speaker Series. It'll certainly be great occasion to find out a bit more about this magnificent mountain, about these three ace alpinists and their magnificent adventure. And perhaps even get some insight into their next expedition, Nanga Parbat. Obviously in winter.
