Rope jumping off Shaan-Kaya

Let me state clearly that I wouldn't do it. But interpret it as fun (just for them...). We're on the southern coast of Crimea. On Shaan-Kaya. A beautiful place. A beautiful pine forest, topped by a massive yellow face. This is where you'd leap off one of the highest rope jumps in the world.

The plunge starts at an altitude of 235 metres and results in a 160m "free fall" (aka rope jump) for a total jump of circa 180-190m. The equivalent of "the most memorable 7-8 seconds of your life." There's no point repeating that I wouldn't do it, not even for all the smiles of the female "jumpers" in this video ;-)
