 Ready to shoot! The closing date for the 8th Banff Mountain Photography Competition, the prestigious Canadian photographic competition, is at hand. Amateur and professional photographers alike are invited to take part, and all entries must be received by 30 May 2003. The winning photographs will be exhibited during the Banff Mountain Festivals from 5-9 November, during the nominations for the best mountain films and books. Award Grand Prize:$1000 Categories: Mountain Adventure; Mountain Landscape; Mountain Culture; Mountain Flora and Fauna; and Mountain Environment. $500 each Closing date: 30 May, 2003. 35mm slides and/or prints (minimum size 8"x10", maximum size of 11"x14").
