World Cup Boulder, Fiera di Primiero, results
Salavat Rakhmetov and Sandrine Levet win the second stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2003.
| Salavat Rakhmetov and Sandrine Levet have won the second stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2003. Both were devastating at Fiera di Primiero, in particular Salavat, who topped out on 11 out of 12 problems. Closest rival was Daniel Dulac, with "just " 7 tops, followed by teammate Jerome Meyer. Levet placed first ahead of last year's title holder Natalia Perlova and Stella Marchisio and, with two straight victories this season, now clearly leads the women's event. The provisional leader board in the men's event is more evenly spread as Tomasz Olesky, winner of the first stage of the BWC in Yekaterinburg a fortnight ago, placed tenth. The World Cup circuit remains in Italy, with the city of Lecco hosting the third stage in two weeks time.
