Bruno Brunod and Gloriana Pellissier won the Ville d’Aoste Skyrace on Sunday 21 July
On Sunday 21 July Bruno Brunod from Italy won the Ville d’Aoste Skyrace in 2.14.46. A rapid descent in pouring rain resulted in almost a minute's lead ahead of his companions Jean Pellissier and Dennis Brunod. Gloriana Pellissier beat the current World Champion Corinne Favre (FRA) and Carme Tort (ESP), who now leads the overall, seven stage World Cup. The next stage of the Skyrunning World Cup will be held in Switzerland's Sierre Zinal on 11 August. All eyes will be on Augusti Roc from Andorra, the provisional leader of the Cup who placed fourth in Ville d’Aoste
