| World Champions Maxim Stenkovoi and Olena Riepkosi won the fifth stage of the Speed Climbing World Cup, held on the 26m high dam in Daone, Italy last weekend. Maxim Stenkovoi beat Tomasz Olesky in an incredible final heat, in which both athletes broke the course record set by Stenkovo in earlier rounds. Although Olesky climbed the fastest, Stenkovoi won on aggregate.
