The fifth stage of the Bouldering World Cup gets underway in Rovereto tomorrow. This year's news is that the wall is located in the recently constructed MART, Rovereto's beautiful Museum of Modern Art. Jérôme Meyer currently leads the men's field with 330points, resulting from two straight victories in Lecco and Argentiere, and two third places in Yekaterinburg and Fiera di Primiero. Salavat Rakhmetov trails in second place with 257 points (2nd, 1st, 4th, 15th), ahead of third placed Daniel Dulac (14th, 2nd, 6th, 4th). The women's event is headed by Sandrine Levet (337 points, 3 victories and one ninth place) who will do her best not to repeat her Lecco hiccough, as Olga Bibik lies hot on her heels with 300 points (2nd, 4th, 1st and 3rd). The two currently dominate the women's event, as third placed Natalia Perlova lies way back with 184 points only.
