Mezzanotte and Battel win Lagorai Cima d’Asta
On Sunday 13 May Mirco Mezzanotte and Carlo Battel won the 15th ski mountaineering competition Sci Alpinistica Lagorai Cima d’Asta.
![]() On Sunday 13 May Mirco Mezzanotte and Carlo Battel won the 15th ski mountaineering competition Sci Alpinistica Lagorai Cima dAsta. This duo finished in a record breaking 2.15.56 (1735 altitude gain and 4000m total height difference), beating clsoe rivales Ivan Antigaand Hansjoerg Lunger by 2 mins 24 seconds. Third place went to Luciano Fontana and Ivano Molin, almost 5 minutes behind the winners. The women's competition was won by Orietta Calliari and Roberta Secco, who finished the course in 3.20.45, a massive 10 minutes ahead of Bice Bones and Fabiana Battel. The competition is fourth stage of the Dolomiti Memorial cup and also the trentino Championship.
