At the end of January the Ukrainian Evgenyy Kryvosheytsev won the Ice-extreme boulder at Solcava, ahead of World Champion Harald Berger and Jack Müller. Kryvosheytsev was the only athlete to top out in the pumpy men's final, and all three athletes clearly dominated the Slovenian event, much as they did in Switzerland a few weeks ago.

Kirsten Buchmann proved that her top positions in last year's World Cup were no chance result by winning the women's event, and beating IWC 2002 title holder Ksenia Sdobnikova and Tanja Grmovsek, second and third respectively.

Congratulations to the Slovenian organisation that managed to organise not only this competition, but a further three events that constitute the Slovenian Ice Cup.
