| The final stage of the World Cup 2002 gets underway in Kranj, Slovenia today. The outcome is no surprise, as both Alexandre Chabot and Muriel Sarkany won the Cup on points in Aprica last month. Second and third place however are still left open, and Pouvreau trails 36 points behind Mrazek, while Crespi contends for third place. In the women’s event Sandrine Levet’s 378 place her in provisional second place, 27 points ahead of Martina Cufar and a further 11 from Katrin Sedlmayer. The Final will take place on Sunday.
