Ice Climbing World Cup 2014 - Korea: Tolokonina and Tomilov win, Angelika Rainer places third

During the final I felt a bit tired, perhaps because of the long journey and jet lag, but I'm on good form and so I now look forward to the next stage." Victory went to Russia's Maria Tolokonina, the fastest to reach the top, while Korea's Shin Woonseon slipped into second place after having topped out slightly slower, just Rainer.

The men's event was dominated by the Tomilov brothers: Alexey took gold thanks to his lone top in the final, and in doing so doubled his Korean takings after victory here last year, while his brother Maxim placed second, beating Korea's Park HeeYong.

The Speed event was won by Nikolay Kuzovlev and by Natalia Kulicova.
