The Semifinals of the Innsbruck stage of the 2016 Bouldering World Cup gets underway today at 13:00 and will be followed by the Finals at 20:00. A record number of athletes competed in yesterday's qualifiers (67 women and 108 men) and unsurprisingly this intense round eliminated some hot favourites, such as Jakob Schubert, Rustam Gelmanov, Jan Hojer, Tyler Landman, Tsukuru Hori, Domen Skofic, Jeremy Bonder, Jorg Verhoeven... The provisional ranking is led by Shauna Coxsey, Janja Garnbret, Melissa Le Neve and Anna Stöhr - all with a perfect score of 5 tops first go - while Alexey Rubtsov and Jongwon Chon lead their respective groups.
