| The Italian ice climbing competition circuit 2003, entitled Alpin Cup, came to a close last Sunday and was won by Orietta Bonaldo and Diego Mabboni. Intense cold (-20°C) characterised the third and final stage in 2003, held in the small Riva di Tures, Northern Dolomites. Despite the event being organised in just two weeks, it proved to be a success, and was won by Anna Torretta and Christoph Hainz.
