At the recent European Climbing Championships in Munich the new combined discipline made its official debut. Conceived to separate Speed from Lead and Boulder, the new formula will be used at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. Munich was the first, important official test, and was won by Janja Garnbret and Jakob Schubert. Adam Ondra placed second and in this video he analyses the new formula in all its details.
