Ten days ago the Japanese Yuji Hirayama climbed "Underground" at the steeply overhanging Pueblo di Massone at Arco, N. Italy. This brings his tally of 8c+ to seven, after his redpoint of Noia at Andonno a few weeks ago.

Hirayama worked the 22m route on Tuesday and Wednesday, rested a day, worked it on Friday and then sent the route just before an impending thunderstorm on Saturday 16th September.

Hirayama placed second at this year's Rock Master 2000 and is currently third in the World Cup ranking.
